Benedictine Military School’s Drill and Color Guard teams competed in the 6th Brigade Area I Regional Drill Meet at the Georgia Southern University Statesboro Campus on Saturday. The region is comprised of high schools from Bryan, Chatham, Liberty, Long and Ware counties. Teams that qualified in the top three of their respective events earned a spot in the Georgia State Drill Competition in Griffin, Ga., on March 25. These BC teams and commanders qualified for the Georgia State Drill Meet: Regulation Armed Squad Cadet Major Nicholas Sutlive (3rd place); Regulation Unarmed Platoon Cadet Corporal Liam Clark (2nd place); Regulation Unarmed Squad Cadet First Sergeant William Shearouse (2nd place); Color Guard Cadet Corporal Stephen Diamond (2nd place).
